Commitment: After receiving several major offers, 5-star tight end Linkon Cure from Goodland has officially chosen the Wildcats.

The 6’6”, 220-pound athlete from Goodland, KS chose his home-state Wildcats on Monday afternoon, selecting them over offers from across the country, including a finalist group that featured Oregon, Texas A&M, and Kansas. Cure is a multi-sport star for Goodland High School, winning state titles in track & field in the 110m and 300m hurdles, and achieving top marks in the 100m and 200m dash, as well as a 6’2” mark in the high jump. He also helped lead his basketball team to the 3A state title game this past February.

Cure’s combination of size, speed, and leaping ability makes him a standout prospect as an elite tight end. It’s not just his physical attributes that set him apart; he has demonstrated his skills on the football field during games and at camps alongside other top recruits.
